ENSEMBLE ASAMISIMASA DA

asamisimasa is a Norwegian avant-garde music ensemble founded in 2001, specializing in premiering cross-media contemporary works often contextualized with classical and historical avant-garde repertoire. The ensemble has collaborated with internationally renowned composers including Helmut Lachenmann, Brian Ferneyhough, and Alvin Lucier, and has performed at major venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Donaueschingen, and Huddersfield. Their recordings have twice won the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann) for best contemporary music record.
