BERGMANGÅRDENE PÅ FÅRÖ/ THE INGMAR BERGMAN ESTATE ON FÅRÖ STI

The Bergman Estate on Fårö is a nonprofit foundation that preserves Ingmar Bergman's historic homes on the Swedish island of Fårö as a residency program for artists, scholars, and journalists. The estate maintains four houses and a cinema in their original state, offering a contemplative workspace inspired by Bergman's decades of creative work there. Funded through philanthropist Hans Gude Gudesen, the foundation invites international applicants annually to live and work on the grounds.
