Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a Christian organization founded in 1945 that operates 120 aircraft in developing countries where distances are long, roads are absent or difficult to navigate and unsafe. MAF continues its relief flight work in areas where the need for assistance is greatest. MAF Finland has been involved in making these flights a reality since 1976. In Finland, we organize youth aviation camps, flight training, and support MAF's flight operations as well as the Finnish employees serving in them. MAF's work helps people in developing countries who are most affected by climate change. MAF is also active in climate issues in Finland and has been the main organizer of the international conference on ecological and electric flying since 2019.
